According to Avon
Cosmeticos direct sales business strategy, independent representatives called
"Avon Ladies" or "Avon Men" sell the company's goods. These
salespeople can engage in in-person trade shows, direct shopping, and catalog sales
to promote Avon products to consumers.

Avon Cosmeticos also sells cosmetics, skincare, bath and body items, hair care,

In recent years, Avon has widened its emphasis to include
social responsibility programs, such as promoting women's empowerment and
combating domestic violence.
Avon's final year as a
separate company was in 2019, before it was officially incorporated into Natura
&Co. in January 2020. With a combined global force of more than 6 million
representatives, Natura, which currently controls 76% of the company, predicted
it could reach over 200 million customers and generate $10 billion in annual
sales.
The standalone success of
Avon in 2019 was, however, marked by a 15% decline in sales. Due to its 2016
separation from its North American business, the company's international
operations outside the United States were mainly carried out in 55 countries
and territories.
Avon's second-most
lucrative area of South Latin America saw sales decline 18% to $1.78 billion.
North Latin America, which ranks far behind in revenue, saw sales drop 7% to
$751 million.

Europe were notable releases in this year's first quarter; both products
exceeded sales forecast.
